Offering Healing in Troubled Times

With the pandemic of COVID-19 hitting the United States and world, businesses across the globe have had to alter or shutdown normal operations to “slow the spread” of the Coronavirus. The continued development of the Coronavirus pandemic has led Governor Brian Kemp to officially declare a public health emergency for the state of Georgia. Additionally, Governor Kemp ordered a Shelter In Place mandate for Georgians through April 30 (at least). As a result of these guidelines, Medici Spine & Pain will continue to provide essential services for our patients while taking every precaution to provide the safest environment. Keeping you safe is our highest priority.
As an essential medical establishment, we are continuing to:
- Perform essential medical procedures
- Offer TeleMedicine appointments
- Accept new and referred patients
*** Please note: If you have any symptoms of a cold, the flu, or Coronavirus, if you have traveled abroad recently, or if you believe you may have been in contact with anyone who may have COVID-19, you will need to reschedule your appointment. We do not want to expose our medical staff or other patients to any contagious illnesses. Thank you for your understanding. Also, if you are worried about exposure and prefer to change your appointment, we understand. We are making TeleMedicine appointments available to all patients. You can contact the Medici Call Center, Monday through Friday, at (844) 328-4624. ***
At Medici Spine & Pain, we understand how important it is for you to receive the care that you need. TeleMedicine Appointments are made via computer, tablet, or smartphone. Through these appointments, you will be able to interact with one of our expert providers personally. With video conferencing, our doctors and medical staff can talk with you regarding any pain that you are experiencing. If you need physical therapy without coming into our physical office, we can walk you through exercises that will help you through your treatment. Our medical staff can perform exercises for you to see, and you can record these examples so that you can review them at your convenience, multiple times, at home. We will provide any modifications that you need for at-home therapy. For example, if you would typically use a machine at our office, we can give you alternative exercises that you can safely do at home using steady furniture or on the floor. We will also advise you when you should have a spouse, adult child, or partner assist you for safety reasons.
Medici Spine & Pain is still here to offer healing during these unprecedented, troubling times. Please contact us with any questions or concerns that you have. Whether you are a brand new patient or a patient that we have seen for a while, we are here for you. Keeping you safe while you recover is our top priority.
